This Monday we took a little trip out to BoxStock, revisited some of the work on display at Wizardry in Wood and had a wide range of work on display from those at the meeting...not sure how we managed to fit it all in but we did!! Read on for more details...

Andrew Hall had been to an in-person event for Cigar Box guitar enthusiasts called BoxStock, by the looks of it a good time was had by all. Andrew sent over a few of the photos from the event including some images of his live on-stage appearance at the open mic session!!
Burnsy followed up on Phil Irons submission last week. Phil had found a new filter on his camera phone and not to be outdone he managed to find a filter on his phone and this was the result!!
Len Shield sent over some photos including a glasses stand, not that losing our glasses or forgetting where we put things is at all relevant to any of the members of the group...not at all. Len also showed us some of his Sea Urchin ornaments...illuminating!!
Pat Carroll sent over some photos of work from his latest IRD. A bowl with a lid and finial, the lids are painted in bright vibrant colours...very striking and modern.
Patrick Lindsay sent over some photos a few pieces of his work including a rather lovely laburnum bowl. The bowl had a crack in it and Patrick had opted to make a feature of it by using metal stitches across the gap.
Phil Irons sent over a photo of his recent in-person demo to Ely woodturners, looks like Phil has manged to turn off the filter on his camera phone....well done mate!
Stephen Mellor sent over some photos of his preparation for an in-person event he is going to be attending shortly. Looks really good, hope you have a successful sales event !!
Jean Claude Charpignon: We also had some photos sent over by Pat Carroll who had taken a bit of time out to put together a sample of photos showing the work of Jean Claude Charpignon, the work is incredibly detailed and shows just some of the things that can be achieved through ornamental turning...far too clever for me.
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!
Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.
Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all, keep on sharing!
