This Monday we have luxury hotels, spotty sycamore and one of our group has returned from a little "vacance" in France with a boot full of swag....read on for more!

Arun Radysh Haasis has been out roughing out a biggish bowl blank (for non RU owners this means flipping huge), I recognise that seated hollowing position well! Arun has also been out prepping things for those all important Christmas fairs...an important selling event for many of us!
Jim Briggs sent over some images of a recent piece in Sycamore. Jim was wanting some advice on the black spots and marks that had appeared on the timber as it dried, the general consensus seemed to be that the timber needed to stand up on end when drying to prevent this sort of discolouration.
Helen Bailey sent over some photos of her super duper luxury accommodation in London when she went down to attend the Wizardry in Wood event...we won't mention her locking herself out of her room and having to go down to reception with no shoes on.....no....we won't mention that at all!
Mike Wilson sent in some photos of a job he had been doing for a customer. A pair of tapered and fluted columns had been requested by the client so Mike was able to put the Paul Howard jig to good use...another essential tool purchase put to use!
Len Shield has been hard at work again! This time we have a farmer with a bucket and a dog that looks suspiciously like Snoopy! I'm sure the grandkids are delighted with these.
Pat Carroll has also been out playing with paints again! This time we have a coffee pot which seems to have been dug up from somewhere or other...it's very rusty!! We were also given a look at an acorn box with some really lovely texturing on it.
Patrick Lindsay sent over some more photos of his recent Monkey Puzzle piece in progress and a few photos of the finished piece. It is simply stunning, Patrick has taken full advantage of the unique features of the timber .... what more can you say!
Richard Dickson sent over some more photos of his recent trip to see his parents in France. The trip was good and, as you can see from the photo, Richard packed the essentials for his trip home...a boot full of wine and freshly cut blanks....vive la France!
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!
Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.
Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all, keep on sharing!
