So, a Monday evening with an unexpected "How to" and a world premiere no less!! You need to read on to find out the full story!

Margaret Garrard showed us a "How to" in her version of German Ring Turning. Margaret's technique is pretty much unique and so are the hollow ring turned pieces she produces. Margaret's version of this technique is something she came up with herself and the results speak for themselves!!
Pat Carroll showed us two recent pieces of work. Pat first showed us what he referred to as a "spitoon"...not quite the way I would describe it. Second up we had a world premiere of a new piece in his "erosion" series of work, this time it's an eroded teapot. Well, if that's what the tap water does to your teapot then I'd advise against drinking the tea....
Patrick Lindsay gave us some photo's of a piece of monkey puzzle which was so far gone it was headed for the fire. However Patrick managed to salvage the knots and has produced some really nice bits of work from those.
Robert Lyons has been out making some lidded forms (boxes and bowls) with some spalted Birch. Very nice indeed.
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!
Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.
Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all, keep on sharing!
