These Monday evenings do seem to come around rather quickly and it's just as well with all the stuff that is going on in peoples workshops! Here is the breakdown from last weeks session:

Arun Radysh Haasis: Woodturning

Arun Radysh Haasis has been very busy again with construction work but has also managed to fit in some turning and produced this sculptural work, nice to see the RU is still getting some exercise!

Kevin Purdy: WoodturningKevin Purdy has been off on a jaunt to the North of Scotland and of course while he was there he called in to see Gary Lowe, well it would be rude not to!! The stay with Gary seems to have been well worth it .....though the trip back was perhaps not one you'd care to repeat!

Margaret Garrard: WoodturningMargaret Garrard has had one of those moments we all have, you know the small part flying off into the depths of the workshop .... followed by the "Now, where did that go?". Then we move onto losing a day doing a lot of those little "I must do some tidying up" jobs and still don't find the wretched thing. Margaret did come across this little layer cake of shavings giving a snapshot of work done over a period of time...

Pat Carroll: WoodturningPat Carroll has branched out into the Luthier's world with this electric guitar with a patinated rust finish...now all he has to do is to learn to play it!

Patrick Lindsay: WoodturningPatrick Lindsay gave us a photo of some wasps he had nesting in the garden but more importantly we got two views of a very nice natural edge bowl/calabash.

Phil Irons: WoodturningPhil Irons has been out playing with glitter and glue...honestly he has, we have the photos to prove it! The outcome of the play session is this Monkey Puzzle hollow form.

Stephen Mellor: WoodturningStephen Mellor sent over some photos of a Corinthian Helmet he had made following a demonstration from Andrew Hall. Very nice it is too!

As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!

DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!

Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.

Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all,  keep on sharing!
