Back to normal this week (whatever that is) and we had a number of members with things to show and discuss, the breakdown is as follows:
![]()
Arun Radysh Haasis has been out giving the RU some exercise and produced a spectacular natural edge bowl from a piece of highly figured Sycamore. The extended toolrest is something that has been noted and the photo has been forwarded to my steel work shop....
Burnsy sent over some photos of a little parcel that arrived from Mr Paul Howard...part of the ongoing fascination (or is it an obsession?) with the Korean ceramic form known as Moon Jars. Photos of the sphere jig in use to follow...at some point!
Len Shield has been working at the opposite end of the scale to Arun. Len has produced some dolls house scale items for his grand daughter, the line up includes a miniature scale goblet with an off centre turned stem. The young lady in question added some finishing touches!
Pat Carroll sent over some photos of a piece he has made, he's referred to it as a Propellor Shield but wasn't sure that and thought it might be better as an impeller. Not sure that I can comment but it is a really lovely piece!
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!
Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.
Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all, keep on sharing!
Photos are below, as usual click on the little image to see a bigger version:
