This week was a little different, we had presentations from two group members sharing tips on "photographing your work", hopefully everyone got something from it and there is an offer of a separate session on using a phone or tablet to edit photos if people are interested. On top of that we also managed to squeeze in some additional bits and pieces!

Graham Brooks: Woodturning

Graham Brooks has been off for a little while but sent in some photos of some rather lovely eccentric boxes with colour accents. The boxes can be joined at different angles to produce different shapes.

Kevin Purdy: WoodturningKevin Purdy sent over some photos of two things he'd been making. The first is was a turned wooden animal...which looked suspiciously like a "Clanger"...expecting a soup dragon next time then Kevin! The second was a splendid turned ornamental piece with a metal stand....very nice indeed!

Len Shield: WoodturningLen Shield has been out pushing the limits of his lathe a bit to produce this rather lovely bowl in Cherry. The piece was produced from a piece of branch wood and shows the heart wood in both ends.

Ray Midgley: WoodturningRay Midgley sent over some photos of some wigstands he had made. The stands have been given to a cancer charity local to Ray, several other group members are working on these stands and we should hopefully see lots more donations being made to this very worth cause.

As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!

DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!

Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.

Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all,  keep on sharing!
