I'm not actually sure how we squeezed all of this into one meeting but we did seem to manage it, I'm exhausted just looking at the photo's !
So here is a brief run down...

Arun Radysh Haasis has been off gold panning but still managed to get himself into the workshop. Arun sent over photos of a wall piece with some gold accents and a large bowl. Arun also sent over a photo of his workshop assistant !
Brian Conchie sent over some photos taken from a website over in the US. The photos show some details for making wig stands, it looks like several of you are off and running with making wig stands...well done!
Jim Briggs was tasked with making a whisky tumbler last week - at least that's his excuse. At any rate the result is shown, made to an exact size to fit Jim's crystal tumbler..no contamination of the spirit from the wood! As an
John Brown (Dumfries) sent over some photos of a wigstand he had made. The stand was made from reclaimed timber and then finished in black with some gilt cream applied to give a fantastic finish.
Olive Walker sent over some photos of her fantastic artwork. Some of this work is applied to pieces made by her husband John and two shots of collaborative pieces were also sent over...what a great idea! Collaborative work between members of the group...anyone care to run with that one?
Margaret Garrard sent over some photos of a piece she had shown us a little while ago so we could see how it turned out. The grain pattern was used to produce a stunning piece showcasing Margaret's skill and talent.
Martin Dickinson sent over a photo of the continuing Wasp situation in his workshop. Still not entirely rid of the little blighters but that should be the last of them. I believe Marting will be entertaining us in a couple of weeks with some facts and figures about these little beasties.
Pat Carroll sent over some photos of a piece he had made as part of a recent online demonstration, a platter with a decorated rim. Nice to see the details of the piece and how the texture is achieved.
Patrick Lindsay sent over some photos of some tables he had been making as gifts for his grand kids. Lovely natural edge pieces, one of them with an insert to patch a drying crack in the timber. Really nice!
Stephen Mellor sent over some photos of pieces he has made. Stephen has been attending online demonstrations and decided to put some of these techniques to use and produced some fantastic work with colour and texture.
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
