Right then, continuing with our summer lull... We had a whole load of images sent through for the session and not only a mystery timber but timber with images built in!! Read on for more details:

Andrew Hall sent over some photos of hats in progress. The photos are to be used in an article on making Hats that Andrew is writing for a well known woodworking/woodturning magazine! Naturally Indy made it into the photos too!
Len Shield sent over some photos of a couple of projects. Firstly we saw a couple of pens in a rather unusual stand, very unusual idea! Next up were the three kings....Len's wife is making an early start for Christmas!! Let's not go there!!
Kevin Purdy sent over photos of a lovely basket he had made for a relative to store sewing accessories. Kevin also made a range of things to put in the basket...of course...lucky relative !!
Phil Irons has come up with another mystery timber. This time however the main point wasn't to identify the timber (Burr Ash) but to ask what people could see in the odd patterns the wood has....we had some very imaginative answers! Phil also sent in some photos of Jay Heryet's car, renamed "Jay's wood wagon" which was loaded up with lumps of wood to keep her going for a while....we are all so looking forward to seeing all the new work Jay!
Helen Bailey sent over a photo of a plank of Olive Ash that is currently in stock at her place of work...this one clearly shows a pattern which bears a remarkable resemblance to Scooby Doo!! Really can't wait to see more photos from Helen....see what I did there..
Martin Stacey sent over a photo of a pen he had made and some cufflinks. As always, well done Martin!
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!
Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.
Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all, keep on sharing!
